Tuntud Eesti muusik Vaiko Eplik (pildil paremal) käis EAÜs väliseesti plaate uurimas.

Saksa teadlane ja polüglott Lars Fredrik Stöcker Rootsi Uppsala Ülikoolist, kes räägib vabalt ilusat eesti keelt, leiab oma majandusalase uurimustöö jaoks üht-teist.

Hiljuti külastasid meid Okupatsioonide Muuseumi näituste juht Sander Jürisson Eestist ja Stanford Ülikooli raamatukogu Eesti ja Balti kogude kuraator Liisi Esse Calforniast (paremal), fotol ka (vasakul) EAÜ arhivaar Ave Maria Blithe ja EAÜ juhataja Enda Mai Michelson Holland.

2015.a detsembri lõpus külastas meid Leevi Reinaru (laua otsas, mustas jakis), Lääne Nigula Püha Nikolause koguduse õpetaja ja Lääne praostkonna praost Eestis. Tema onu, Rudolf Reinaru, oli New Jersey´s Lakewood´i Püha Vaimu koguduse õpetaja aastail 1957 – 1965. 8.veebruar 2016. Helga Merits Hollandist tutvustab oma filmi “The Class of 1943”  mis meenutab Teise Maailmasõja Eesti generatsiooni, mil noored pidid ´´vabatahtlikult´´ teenima kas Saksa või Punaarmees.

An Estonian musician Vaiko Eplik (on right) researched the EAUS collection of Estonian expatriate music CDs and vinyl records.

German researcher and polyglot (beautiful Estonian skills among the many languages he is fluent in) Lars Fredrik Stöcker from Uppsala University, Sweden, found materials for his research in economics.

Tiiu Kravtsev and Gristel Ramler from Estonian National Archive are sorting through volumes of documents.

In the end of December 2015, we received a visit from Leevi Reinaru (head of table, in a black jacket), from Lääne Nigula Püha Nikolaus congregation, Pastor of Lääne Deanery in Estonia. His uncle, Rudolf Reinaru, had served as a pastor in New Jersey at Lakewood Holy Ghost congregation in 1957 – 1965.
